Jack and Eva ~
Kylie and Daddy on their way to soccer practice ~
As Brittney is a senior this year and has passed all her TAKS tests, she doesn't have to be at school when they administer them. Last Tuesday her classes didn't start until afternoon, so she asked if she could come see Jack and Beth's gymnastics classes. Both Jack and Beth loved showing off for her. Eva loved having her there too and "talked" and "talked" to her. During Beth's class, Jack kept climbing all over Brittney, telling her that he loved her because she was his aunt (he has also recently informed both us and Brittney that when he is bigger, he is going to marry Brittney). After gymnastics, we picked up kids meals (a rarity for us - I'm usually a cheapskate) at Sonic and had a picnic lunch at the new playground by the rec center. We found all sorts of fun things there, including a teeter-totter built for five - so all five of us rode on it. I got a picture of Brit and the three kids ~

Yesterday was Allison's mother's birthday. As Allison now lives several hours away (for the first time in years), we picked up flowers - red roses and white daisies - for her (and a couple of huge cupcakes) and brought them over to her mom, Jan :) Jan is awesome and I love her! Four of the kids came with me (Kylie stayed home with Daddy) and we sung happy birthday to her and then visited for a little bit ~

When Eva sleeps, she buries her face in whatever she can. I think she sleeps better in the dark. She doesn't usually nap very well during the day unless I hold her the whole time. We decided to try something new and borrowed Beth's Hello Kitty's eye mask. It's working well so far! ~
