The Dawning of a New Era a.k.a Kylie's First Soccer Game

We have officially entered a new stage of life - soccer-Mom-stage. Today was Kylie's first soccer game. Kylie's team is the Pink Panthers and their jerseys are light pink, although not all the team uniforms are in yet, so half the team was in dark pink today. Kylie was in mustard yellow. She was the goalie. It was her first time ever playing and they've only had two practices, but she did really well! She managed to block about 75% of the attempted goals. We'll have to work with her though on technique (such as throwing the ball to YOUR teammates after you pick it up). I'm pretty sure most of her teammates have never played soccer before either. There were several times that Kylie's teammates got confused as to which goal was theirs. Fortunately the other team was only slightly better, so the Panthers only lost 5-1. Kylie did so good as goalie though that her coach asked if she wanted to be goalie for the rest of the season :)
