Getting to Know You

I just got asked to be in charge of the girls activity days (ages 8-11) group at our church. I don't know most of the girls, so for our first activity, we answered "get to know you" questions. Here are my answers, I'd love to read yours :) ~

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
1 brother, 3 sisters

What number child are you in your family?
Oldest

What is your favorite food?
Lobster, potato soup . . . and the chicken bellagio at cheesecake factory

What is your favorite thing to do?
Play with my kids, spend time with my husband, read

What is your favorite thing to learn about?
I like learning about most things, but find psychology fascinating

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A therapist

If you had to eat a crayon, what color would you eat? Why?
Red because I usually like red candies best

When is your birthday?
May 15th

If you could get anything as a present, what would you want?
A lump sum of money big enough to pay off our debt and do all the things we keep having to put off, like get new flooring - does that make me a boring adult?

If you could visit anywhere, where would you go?
Italy, Greece and Spain

If you could talk to any famous person, living or dead, who would you want to talk to? Why?
Hmmm . . . that's a hard one. Maybe Eve - I've always thought her life must have been interesting. Or Amelia Earhart, to find out what really happened on her last flight.

What was your most favorite vacation?
A year after we were married, we took a two week long road trip with my family and hit about 7 national parks. That was fun

Down With Love and Amalie

What is your favorite song or who is your favorite singer?
I like a lot of songs and singers. The Carpenters, Neil Diamond, ABBA, U2, Journey, the Mamas and the Papas . . .

These is my Words, The Blue Castle (LM Montgomery), the Hunger Games trilogy, the Twilight series, anything by Maeve Binchy, John Grisham, or Dan Brown. Most books by Anne McCaffrey

Lemoncello torte

What is your favorite fruit or vegetable?
Fresh pineapple, fresh raspberries

What is your favorite candy?
Depends on the day. I like milk chocolate, caramel, toffee, gummi bears (haribo), and cinnamon

Supreme

3 cats, 1 dog

Lilacs and roses

What is your favorite smell?
Babies washed with Johnson & Johnson baby wash, lilacs, roses, cinnamon and cloves, homemade bread
