My family makes me laugh. A lot. There are constantly little things being said and done that crack me up. A few things from this week ~
"Did you know that when I pick my boogers, I can feel the bones in my nose? It's AWESOME!" ~ Beth
Thursday night Kylie knocked on our bedroom door, said she had something to show us and burst into the room wearing a long sleeved shirt and underwear, with another long sleeved shirt tied around her neck, a sash from Meg's curtains and a braided belt tied around her waist. Hands on her waist, in a Superman pose, she proudly announced "I'm Captain Underpants!!!" I am SO saving this to use as collateral when she's a teenager :)
The couches in the upstairs living room were pushed to the side so the a/c guys could get into the attic last week. They are still pushed together . . . because Rob made a fort out of them . . . for him . . .

Eva is almost 4 months old! I can't believe she's already that old, but I also can barely remember life without her :) Eva is such a smiley baby :) And she takes smiling to a whole new level. When she grins, she uses her whole body. Her face breaks out into huge grin, she waves her arms around, and scrunches her legs up. Her eyes are gray, by the way, like Rob's and Beth's. Her hair is staying pretty dark so far, but it is getting red undertones. It has curls when it's wet. She has rolls everywhere now, and dimples at the base of each finger and on her knees. She loves eating her hands and loudly sucks her fingers, smacking her lips as if they're the best tasting things in the universe. She loves twiddling her toes. She bends her knees so the bottoms of her feet touch and wiggles her toes against each other. She does not like riding in the car, even if people are next to her, but tends to do better if we have music playing. She hates being put down, but happily eats her hands and then falls asleep if I put her in the baby carrier I made from a friend's design (google Baby Ball Mei Tai if you want to make one too!). She loves holding onto things, especially clothing. When she nurses, she holds onto my shirt. She also wiggles her legs when she eats, often sticking one of them straight up in the air. She's doing much better at sleeping. She still stays up pretty late (it's almost midnight and she's still going strong tonight), but once she goes to sleep, it's not unusual for her to sleep until 6 or 7am, then nurse and go back to sleep for several hours.
