Blessed

As I was driving home from an OB appointment today, I realized that it was 10 years ago yesterday that we found out we were pregnant with Megan. We had been married for 4.5 years and had been told by several doctors that we would almost certainly never be able to have children. I had surgery to remove an ovarian tumor the summer before and my fertility doctor told me to come back in 6 months and we could try fertility treatments again. He warned me though that he didn't think they would work. Six months later we came in for our appointment. The doctor did an ultrasound to make sure the tumor hadn't reoccurred. We found out we were 16 weeks pregnant! Today I got the chance to see our newest little bean. I got to hear the heartbeat and see his (or her) little legs kicking away. The last decade has brought us so many blessings! We never expected to be able to have children, but we're expecting our sixth :) I don't know how we got so lucky! :)
