Above is a picture of Beth and Jack after eating their cereal together - I thought it was cute :)
One of Megan's homework assignments was to decorate a picture of a turkey with her family's help. We did it as a Family Home Evening activity. I cut out the turkey they sent home and glued it to the back of a pizza box. We glued dried beans to some of the tail feathers and decorated others with crayons. We glued cotton balls to the body and then put our initials around the turkey with dried beans and wrote our last name at the bottom. When Megan brought it home from school after having it on display, we tried hanging it on the front door, but the wind kept flipping it over and the front of the pizza box had an American flag on it and said "God Bless America", but we had glued the turkey in such a way that when the box flipped over, the flag was upside down. We took the turkey off the door since it looked like we were anti-American with a flag hanging upside down on our door :)

Rob finished his MBA this past summer, but his diploma came in the mail just a few weeks ago. Here is my MBA :) Way to go, Rob!!!!

I know this picture is blurry, but I love it. Rob was washing the dishes and Jack wanted to help him . . . Jack looks up to him so much and I'm so glad that he has such a wonderful Daddy to look up to!

Our family with Elders Eggett and Ranger. They got "pink washed" out of our area last week - I don't know if they invented that phrase, but it means that they both got transferred to other areas and we got Sister missionaries instead. We'll miss the Elders, but we love the Sisters as well! Rob and I haven't been in an area with Sister missionaries since we lived in Rexburg and we loved the Sisters in that area, so we are excited to get to know our new Sisters :)

We bought our Christmas tree the Saturday after Thankgiving, but waited until FHE on Sunday night to decorate it. We usually use colored lights, but both strands weren't working this year (they were cheap ones from the Christmas Tree Shop and they were probably at least 5 years old, so I wasn't horribly surprised), so rather than wait to decorate until Monday so we could go buy more lights, we used the white icicle lights that we usually use on our bushes. Rob and I put on the lights and the tinsel, then the kids added the ornaments. The end result is not something you would see in Better Homes and Gardens, but we love it!

Jack wasn't horribly interested in decorating, but he LOVED the metal container that some of our ornaments were in. He banged away on it for several minutes.

Jack managed to climb up behind the climber onto the window sill. He was so proud of himself!!! It made me laugh :) Beth carried her baby doll with her while she decorated.

Jack continued across the window sill until he got stuck in the blinds . . .

We have a family tradition that the youngest child who can actually hold the angel gets to put it on top of the tree. This year it was Jack . . .

Our finished tree!!!

I ordered our big family Christmas present online on Black Friday. It is a kitchenaid mixer. They offered free shipping, so we had it shipped rather than pick it up at the store. It got here yesterday and last night, after the kids were in bed, Rob and I opened the box. They packed it in a large box with lots of paper around it, so this morning the kids got to play with the box and the paper. They LOVED it!

You guys sure know how to have FUN!! Those pictures are such a hoot!! I love the "in the blinds peeking out picture" and the one with all the brown paper all over the place.
So what's up with the tree, is in in tree jail or something. Or simply like that for it's safety??? I miss being able to Hang out with you like we did back in REXBURG!!!
We put it on top of the climber we have in our playroom so that Jack can't climb on it or pull it over :) It makes life easier :)
We miss hanging out with you guys too! I think our kids would have so much fun together :) We'll have to get together somehow at some point!
