Yesterday our little Laura was a month old! I can't believe it's already been one month, but I also can't remember life without her :)
I attempted to get a good picture of her after her bath last night. It didn't work out as well as I would have liked, but she's still super cute, even if the photos aren't perfect :)

Laura's not quite as laid back as she was at the beginning. She still usually pretty easy going, but she has very definite opinions on who should hold her and when she should eat. She is a little cuddlebug and loves curling right up to sleep on someone's chest. She is noisy like Kylie was and constantly makes little sighs in her sleep. She cries like Megan did, continuing even after she's been picked up with a melodramatic wheezy cry that is the closest thing I've ever heard to a baby saying "poor me". It always makes us laugh :) Her favorite person (not surprisingly at this point) is Mom, but she settles down for Megan, Kylie, and sometimes Dad :) Eva, Jack, and Beth love her to pieces too, as does Miss Betsy, who calls Laura her baby and has expressed her opinion that we should keep having babies for her to hold :) Rob vetoed that suggestion. Apparently he feels nine months of bedrest in two years is enough :)
Laura is starting to chunk up and is getting rolls on her little legs. She now has dimples at the base of each finger as well :) We had to buy size one diapers as the newborn ones were getting a bit small. This weekend, we're going to have to switch her clothes to 0-3 months. She does really well holding up her head and looking around. She's grinned at us a few times, but we haven't managed to catch it on camera yet. Her little grin looks like Beth's did as she wrinkles up her nose :) She's sleeping better some nights, although her fussy period (when she screams and screams no matter what we do) starts at 11pm or midninght and lasts for an hour or two. She usually sleeps for about 5-6 hours after her fussy period though, which I am very grateful for (I would be more grateful if she would move her time frame back a few hours, but I'll take what I can get). We are all completely in love with her and are so glad she's part of our family!
